Hello everyone,

Welcome to our November newsletter for the MYP and DP. We have two important experiences…

Portales Talents

At Gimnasio los Portales, we work to discover each person’s talent to transform their world. We are proud to be a place where every student has the opportunity to develop their unique talent. This month, we dedicate this section of our news to highlighting the extraordinary skills of our students, whose dedication, effort, and creativity inspire and motivate our entire community.

  • Luciana Ferreira: Her talent is bowling. She participates in the national bowling league in the under-16 category.

  • Laura Maria Fonseca: Her talent is singing. She has been nominated for the Grammy Awards in the Best Latin Music Album for Children category with the group ClaraLuna for the Christmas album Cantemos Juntos. We send a warm greeting to the entire ClaraLuna team and congratulations on this new nomination!

  • Antonia Durán, Antonia Alvarado, and Juliana Leal: Their talent is dance. They participated in All Dance Colombia, one of the most prestigious dance championships worldwide.

  • Sofia Garcia Barreto: Her talent is artistic gymnastics. She participated in the National Championship that took place in Bucaramanga, last month where she won Gold in vault/gold in bar/bronze in floor/silver in all-around. She also qualified for the gala of the best in the South American artistic gymnastics competition, which will take place in Ibagué from November 27th to December 1st.

  • Julieta Galvez Acosta: Her talent is vaulting. She is the National Champion and placed third in the South American championship in the beginner category.

Congratulations to each of our students!
